Michael Rutile

We do "one of a kind" as well as production art pieces with special pieces of quartz. Pictured is a Michael Crystal of rutilated quartz on a green glass base. We cut larger sculptural pieces (up to 12 inches tall) and present them on custom-made obsidian bases. These can add quite an energetic presence to a living space, gathering place, or spiritual retreat center- serving as a focus point for group meditation and prayer work, or just energizing and grounding your environment. We can also incorporate layers of dichroic glass into this process, which adds new dimensions of light and color to the crystals.

I work best here when given the freedom to do that which makes best use of the materials, but I can also recreate for you larger versions of most of our regular production pieces: upright Vogels and Michaels are popular choices, due to there inherent symmetry.
